Album Info:Most of the pictures are from England but there is a group from Wales. On this trip I went from London to Bath, Manchester, York and back to London all by train. I also visited railroad related sites such as the London Transport Museum and the National Railway Museum.

A Piccadilly Line train arrives at Leicester Square
Title:  A Piccadilly Line train arrives at Leicester Square
Description:  The train type is the 1973 stock which were built by Metro-Cammell between 1974 and 1977, and were refurbished by Bombardier Transportation between 1996 and 2001. They are some of the oldest trains running on the Underground, and in Britain as a whole, second only to the 1972 Stock running on the Bakerloo line.

Description:  This was as close as I could get as the boarding area is sealed off for border control reasons. Both trains seen are here are the e320 built by Siemens between 2011 and 2018.

Nice Surprise!

Description:  While waiting for my train to Newport I noticed "Special Charter" on the board before my train was due. It turned out to be the "Welsh Marches Express" on the way from Poole to Shrewsbury. In the lead is Class 47 #47853 (disguised as 47614) which was built in 1964 by Brush.
