Description:  These were originally built from 1994 to 1996 to power high speed ETR 500 trains. Once newer power was introduced on those trains they were rebuilt to power conventional coaches on intercity trains with one unit on each end.

Description:  The only direct link between the five towns of the Cinque Terre is the railway so the trains running between them are extremely crowded. This train was not stopping leaving the crowds a bit disappointed but thankfully trains run every 15 minutes or less.
