Class 1142 on the head of a push-pull train
Title:  Class 1142 on the head of a push-pull train
Description:  1142's were modified from class 1042 from 1995 onwards by the fitting of push-pull equipment, and raising the top speed. These are Bo-Bo locomotives rated at 4000 kW, 5360 hp and have a top speed of 150 km/h, 93 mph. They weigh 82.5 metric tonnes.

Title:  Class 1116 on the head of a push-pull local train
Description:  1116's were built by Siemens from 1999 onwards to operate on the DB & ÖBB systems at 15,000 V ac and in Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic at 25,000 V ac. There were a total of 350 built. They ride on Bo-Bo trucks, the locos are rated at 6400 kW, 8580 hp, weigh 86 metric tonnes and have a top speed of 230 km/h, 143 mph.

Description:  A nice older leader for a crack passenger train. The 1044's were built between 1974 and 1995. These are Bo-Bo locomotives rated at 5150 kW, 6900 hp and have a top speed of 160 km/h, 100 mph. They weigh 84 metric tonnes. They were built by Simmering-Graz-Pauker in Graz.
