Description:  This engine had brought in the famed "Royal Scotsman" tour train to spend the night on the Strathspey Railway. We passed it on our dinner train ride but the light was too low to take any good pictures.

Description:  These engines are known as "Black Fives" and were favorites among British railfan. 18 are preserved out of 842(!!!) built between 1934 and 1951.

Class 390 EMU arriving
Title:  Class 390 EMU arriving
Description:  The Class 390's are built by Alstom and were first intrroduced in 2001. They handle most of the intericyt services on the West Coast Mainline, have a top speed of 140 MPH (but only reach 125 MPH) and are capable of tilting.
